As I approached my 40th birthday I looked in the mirror and decided a change was necessary, but I’d tried before and failed. This time I enlisted professional help, a Personal Trainer from NEOS. For the first time I had someone concentrating on me and my health and fitness. Joanne taught me about nutrition, we talked about good and bad habits, we laughed during the workouts. I first looked into NEOS when I felt like my workouts needed some expert guidance to get me the results I wanted. Having ski raced competitively for years I was accustomed to the typical gym routine of cardio machines and weight lifting. I thought I knew what I needed to do to get the body of an active female athlete, yet I wasn’t seeing or feeling the results when I went at it alone. NEOS was there to help me. In a short time I was able to meet and workout with Liz Goodheart; an experience that pushed me to the necessary levels I was never willing to push myself. We worked together to create workouts that would target specifically what I wanted to focus on: weight loss and overall toning of the body. In a few short weeks I began seeing results: more energy throughout the day, an increase in muscle strength, and best of all body fat loss of more than 3%. I’m so happy with my decision to take the step up to a personal trainer, and I would enthusiastically recommend Liz or any of the NEOS staff to anyone looking for any level of fitness help.

Working with Andy Vines has drastically increased my strength and endurance. At the beginning of the school year I was about 140, now after a few months of working with Andy I am about 155. I am a swimmer and a water polo player. Throughout water polo season I was stronger and in better shape than the majority of my opponents and at my first swim meet this season, I swam my best times. I think that those times are attributed to working with Andy. At NEOS I have learned to appreciate working all the muscles, not just the big ones. I have learned exercises and techniques that will help keep me in shape for the rest of my life.
